WHO ARE WE?
WeTalkSox is a rebrand of the original page, SoxNetwork, which began as an Instagram account in 2018.
Originally, the account served as a news hub for all things Boston Red Sox baseball. But in 2025, a new team was assembled with a vision to grow beyond social media. Thus, WeTalkSox was born—a rising brand and business built on the team’s mission to share their love of Red Sox baseball with the Fenway Faithful.

OWEN BROWN
Owen Brown is the primary owner of WeTalkSox and has been involved with the page since 2023. He was an original member of SoxNetwork, now known as WeTalkSox. Initially joining as a co-owner, Owen took full ownership of the account in 2024 and assembled the team that now drives the brand. He is passionate about sharing his love for the Red Sox with fans, bringing his journalism and podcasting skills to the table—while always remaining eager to learn and grow.
SHAWN PALMER
Shawn became a Co-Owner in 2025. However, in 2024, he founded HomeOfTheSox, a design-focused project dedicated to producing high-quality, original content for Red Sox fans. What began as an independent effort quickly gained traction, leading to a collaboration with WeTalkSox, a platform committed to delivering premium content and engaging fan experiences.
Through this partnership, his goal remains clear: to create clean, impactful designs that reflect the passion and pride of Red Sox Nation.
NATE WOLLENHAUPT
Nate Wollenhaupt served as Co-Owner of SoxNetwork from 2022 to 2023 but stepped away during the 2024 season. After a year-long hiatus, he returned in 2025, launching the page’s first-ever podcast, website, and domain. He is now primarily focused on covering the Red Sox minor league system.
